What do the Vets do with a dog after it is put to sleep?

The owner has a choice of what they would like to do with the body.

Our hospital offers the following:
* Home burial - where the owner takes the body home the same day in a casket
* Individual cremation - where the owner gets the ashes back in about a week
* Mass cremation - owners do not get the ashes back, but we bring the ashes once a week to a nearby pet memorial sanctuary and spread the ashes.

After the dog is confirmed dead we bag the body and place it into the freezer (unless the owner requests home burial) until our crematorium comes once a day to pick up the bodies.

what schools offer pre vet programs how many schools are there?

want to know how many schools offer pre vet courses.. i'm not asking how many vet schools there are. I want to know how many colleges and stuff i have options to go to prepare for vet school.

You can do the pre-vet coursework at almost any 4 year school in the country. There are some vet schools that require an animal science course or two. If your vet school requires those, then you'd need a school with an animal science program (there are a lot).
The rest of the coursework is very general to any school with a biology, and chemistry department and you shouldn't have trouble meeting the requirements pretty much anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can find a vet hospital that?

does anyone know any places in connecticut where I can crop my boxer dog's ears?

Most vets will do it..at three days. But if you actually own the dog now and he's more than a couple days please don't do it…you'll have to put him under anasthesia and risk his health…it's not a good idea anymore. Please don't, for the sake of your dog.
